At 11:36p.m. on Sunday July 5, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that Nigeria has recorded new 544 positive cases of the dreaded Coronavirus (COVID-19). NCDC made the disclosure on its Twitter handle on Sunday. With the new addition, the country now has 28,711 confirmed of COVID-19. Of this number, 11,665 have so far been discharged to reunite with their loved ones just as 645 deaths have occurred as a result of complications from the virus. Nigeria’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) positive cases is now 28,167 as of Saturday July 4, 2020 according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The centre on its Twitter handle announced additional 603 new infections, bringing the total cases to 28,167.
