As at 11:30p.m. on Thursday July 9, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced new 499 cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the country thus bringing the overall number of positive coronavirus cases in Nigeria to 30,748. According to the NCDC on its Twitter handle on Thursday July 9, 2020, Nigeria has also discharged 12546 COVID-19 patients just as the country has lost 689 patients due to complications arising from the virus.
