Gunmen Invade Ebonyi Community Kill Traditional Ruler

HRH Umazi Ibo Ubani, the traditional ruler of the Uihe Autonomous Community, Akaeze in the Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has been killed by yet-to-be-identified gunmen. The gunmen invaded the community with heavy shootings during the invasion which created tension in the area as the people scampered for safety over the weekend, after the man was killed during the attack which occurred at about 10:pm on Friday. Electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos) have reduced the electricity tariff on Band A feeders from N225/kwh to N206.80/kwh.
