553 New Cases Positive Of Covid-19 In Nigeria, Total Now 9855 – NCDC

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has updated its record of the fast-rising Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Nigeria. According to a tweet on its official handle, which was updated on May 30, 2020 as at 11:55p.m., the centre said Nigeria recorded 553 new cases of COVID-19 from across the country, which has now increased the total positive figures to 9855.

NCDC disclosed in the tweet that Nigeria has also treated and discharged 2856 patients and recorded 273 deaths. The new numbers of the cases from the different states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja showed that Lagos State, which remains Nigeria’s epicentre still leads in the numbers of positive cases of the dreaded COVID-19.
