Senator Godswill Akpabio has declared intention to challenge the judgement of the Court of Appeal, Abuja which has ordered INEC to publish the name of DIG Udom Ekpoudom (rtd) as the APC candidate for Akwa Ibom Northwest Senatorial District.
A statement issued by Akpabio’s Campaign Organization said party, APC and Senator Godswill Akpabio shall appeal the judgement to the Supreme Court.
“We enjoin our teeming supporters to remain calm as the facts of the case which are clear provide assurances that justice would be duly served upon a further appeal to the Supreme Court.”
