Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria Spikes To 31,987 – NCDC

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced via its Twitter handle that the number of confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the country has risen to 31, 987. The increase was as a result of the 664 new cases, which the country recorded on Saturday July 11, 2020 at 11:46p.m. The numbers came from across the states of the federation.

Lagos State, the COVID-19 epicentre still leads with 224 new cases while the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja recorded a high single day number of 105 patients. In all 13,103 have so far been discharged and the country has also recorded 724 deaths due to complications arising from the virus.
