COVID-19: 556 New Cases, Total Confirmed Positive Cases In Nigeria Now 36,663

On Sunday July 19, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 556 new cases of the dreaded Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the country. The new numbers bring the total number of positive cases to 36,663. The NCDC made the announcement on Sunday night through its Twitter handle at 11:30p.m. on Sunday.

However, a total of 15,105 patients have been discharged to reunite with their families just as a total of 789 deaths have also been recorded as a result of complications arising from the virus.
