COVID-19 Positive Cases Now 30249 As New 460 Is Recorded On Wednesday

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 460 new cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Wednesday July 8, 2020 in Nigeria thus bringing the total figure of confirmed cases in the country to 30,249 nationwide. The new addition showed that Lagos State, which is Nigeria’s epicentre has continued to take the lead in the highest number of positive cases recorded each day.

The NCDC, which updated its Twitter handle at11:53p.m. on Wednesday said 12,373 patients have so far been discharged but the country has lost 684 people who died as a result of COVID-19 complications.
