Embattled former EFCC boss, Magu


After 10 days of detention and interrogation over alleged financial crimes, the suspended Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu finally regained his freedom from custody. The embattled former EFCC boss was released on Wednesday July 15, 2020.

Magu’s release is coming 10days away from home in police detention on the order of the federal government after being arrested and whisked before a special presidential probe panel over corruption allegations.
