Reports reaching us from Lagos State has it that Television Continental (TVC) Ketu, Lagos has been set on fire over its alleged link to the former governor of Lagos State and the national leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It is also said that Your View a popular talk show programme was on going on live when the hoodlums overwhelmed the station to unleash their dastardly act. The programme host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, who was quoted to have said the hoodlums entered in a van, asked to go on a commercial break. The station had since then been trapped in the sad development.
Some videos that are circulating online, which have also been confirmed TVC staff on ground said the assailants set fire to the station over its connection to Tinubu. Temper rose when soldiers besieged the Lekki toll gate on Tuesday night and opened fire on protesters where several peaceful #ENDSARSNOW protesters lost their lives and many others injured.
The incident has been greeted with outrage from all over the world with Hillary Clinton, former Secretary and Presidential candidate of United States of America asking President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian Army to stop the killing of #EndSARS protesters.
