The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced another record of 242 new cases of the rampaging Coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic in Nigeria. The new cases now leave the country with 4, 641 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 902 people discharged and 150 deaths.
According to the NCDC, which is the agency that is leading the war against COVID-19 in Nigeria, the update, which came up on their Twitter handle at 11:45p.m. on Monday May 11, 2020 gave the breakdown of the affected states where the new cases emanated as follows:
