NCDC Reports 163 New COVID-19 Cases As Latest Toll Hits 60,266

On Sunday October 11, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 163 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. The 163 new cases brought the nation’s confirmed COVID-19 infections to 60,266. The NCDC disclosed this via its verified Twitter handle @NCDCgov.

Providing the complete breakdown of the figure, the agency’s release showed that Lagos State, which has remained the epicenter since the dawn of the dreaded disease recorded 113 cases while Kaduna State trailed with 21 cases. The release further showed that a total of 51,735 persons have been successfully treated and discharged while the country has recorded 1,115 deaths so far.
