In a significant move to bolster fuel supply across the nation, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has commenced the mobilization of a fleet of trucks to the Dangote Refinery.
In a post on its X account, NNPCL said the loading will commence on Sunday, 15th September 2024, and over a hundred trucks has been deployed to the refinery. “In preparation for the Dangote Refinery’s scheduled petrol loading on Sunday, September 15, 2024, NNPC Ltd. has been mobilizing trucks to the refinery’s fuel loading gantry in Ibeju-Lekki.
“As of Saturday afternoon, NNPC Ltd. had deployed over 100 trucks, with hundreds more en route.” This initiative marks the commencement of petrol loading operations at the refinery, which is anticipated to play a crucial role in meeting the country’s energy demands.
