About 427 Nigerians trapped in the war-torn Ukraine arrived at the Nnamdi Azikwe International airport, Abuja on Friday morning aboard Max Air aircraft. The evacuees, most of them students, made the journey from Romania where they had escaped to after Russia invaded Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Air Peace charter flight scheduled yesterday to evacuate Nigerians who fled from Ukraine to Poland was postponed due to hitches.
