UPDATED: Nigeria Record 594 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Now 22,614

On Thursday June 25 at 11:47p.m., the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that Nigeria has recorded 594 new cases of the dreaded Coronavirus (COVID-19) #COVID19Nigeria. The centre, which provided the update through their Twitter handle said the new addition now brings the total cases in the country to 22,614 confirmed cases.

Of this number, the NCDC, which said it was not happy with the level of disregard for the laid down protocols guiding how people should behave especially regarding social distancing as well as wearing of face masks also stated that 7,822 patients have been discharged while Nigeria has also recorded 549 deaths so far.
