Niger State Governor Rt.Hon. Muhammed Umaru Bago has called on road users to show understanding and cooperate with the state government as it embarks on the rehabilitation of a failed section of the Minna-Bida Road.
The governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Bologi Ibrahim, explained that the rehabilitation work has become necessary as a proactive step towards avoiding the yearly collapsing of multiple cell culverts on the road especially during rainy season.
He said the six hours rehabilitation work will commence from 12pm to 6pm on the 18th of July 2023. While assuring the citizens of his commitment to infrastructural development in the state, the governor urged commuters to use alternative routes; Bida-Zungeru-Minna Road and Bida-Lapai-Minna road while the rehabilitation work lasts.
