The second edition of Ndigbo and Entrepreneurship, a dinner and honours event, whicht promotes and celebrates entrepreneurship in the Southeast will take place from November 11 to 13, 2017 at Base Landmark, Independence Layout, Enugu.
A release by the organisers showed that some of the personalities and prominent Igbo groups expected to be at the event include Ohaneze Ndigbo led by its vibrant President General, Chief John Nnia Nwodo; South East governors led by their Chairman, Engineer Dave Umahi, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State; National Assembly members from South East, led by Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu; eminent traditional rulers led by the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe and a host of others.
The major highlight of the event, which will hold during the upcoming Southeast Economic Summit, will be the recognition of outstanding and impactful groups and Igbo entrepreneurs, those late and above 70 years and those below 70. In the above 70 category are Paschal Dozie, Sir Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu (late), Sir Joe Nwankwu (late), Chief Godwin Chikeluba (late), and Chief Nnanna Kalu (late).
The below 70 category comprises Dr. Cosmas Maduka; Chief Chika Okafor; Barrister Allen Onyema; Mr. Ben Okoye; Chief Innocent Chukwuma; Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh, Chief Chidi Anyaegbu, Dr. Nnaeto Orazulike, Dr. Uche Ogah, Engr Emeka Ene, Mr. Chibuzor Darl-Uzu; Prof Pat Utomi; Mrs. Ndidi Nwuneli; Chief Emma Bishop Okonkwo; Dr. ABC Orjiako; Chief Sam Onyishi, and Sir Tony Ezenna.
