Remember DiamondXtra introduced to the banking public by the erstwhile Diamond Bank? Access Bank Plc, which eventually acquired Diamond Bank did not jettison that idea at least not now.
Access said it has rewarded loyal customers in that DiamondXtra scheme with over N5 billion since inception of the scheme. Presently, the scheme, which is in its 11th season has also consistently held draws for as many years. Head Retail Products, Access Bank, Mr. Rob Giles, who spoke on the scheme quarterly cheque presentation ceremony in Lagos, said the bank would continue to reward its loyal customers in the years ahead.
He stated that the scheme had given out over N5 billion in prize since inception. “This year has been really rewarding. We are stuck with salary for life because customers told us that winning motivates them to save. We have stuck with giving out N1 million in prizes every month to create millionaires because they save with DiamondXtra. We have winners today who have rent allowance for a year and education grant for five years, and that is something that is impressive about this season. We are helping our youth get education, which helps in creating business people for tomorrow,” he said.
