Cash Crisis In Nigeria: First Bank Reassures Customers Of Committed Banking Services

By NewsBits

Following the challenge most Nigerians are going through to access their monies in Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) across the country, the management of First Bank, one of Nigeria’s oldest banking institutions has reassured the banking public of their commitment to continue to serve them even in challenging times in the economic and political history of Nigeria.

In a message the bank sent out to its customers titled ‘’We are Open for You,’’ the bank said, “We know these are challenging times and our commitment to support you does not waver. We will keep our doors open and have greatly increased capacity across all our electronic platforms. Being prudent, however, should we observe skirmishes around certain locations, we may have to temporarily shut our doors as we also take the safety and welfare of our staff seriously.

“We want to think we are together and here to find and provide solutions. Unfortunately, those attacking bank branches only make it more difficult for us to do our part in resolving the challenges we collectively face. To our numerous customers who are conducting transactions seamlessly on our alternative channels, we say thank you for trusting us. Do continue to share the word and encourage friends and family to take advantage of the various channels we offer.”
