As Coronavirus (COVID-19 pandemic ravages the whole world, some countries appear to be suffering more with rising number of fatalities as a result of serious complications from the virus.
The United States from all indications is one of those countries whose death rate from COVID-19 is beginning to be worrisome as it has recorded a staggering 1,894 coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours. The latest update, therefore, brings the total fatalities to 82,246, according to the real-time tally by Johns Hopkins University as at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday (0030 GMT Wednesday). This figure was a sharp rise after daily tolls fell below 1,000 on Sunday and Monday thus beaming some ray of hope.
Death tolls from COVID-19 showed that countries in Europe and America remain the worst hit with Russia, Italy, Spain among others battling. The country — hardest hit by the pandemic in terms of the number of fatalities — has now confirmed a total of 1,367,927 cases, the Baltimore-based school reported.
