May 23, 2020 at 11:51p.m., the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reports that a total of 7526 persons have tested positive for the ravaging Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Nigeria with 2174 patients discharged and 221 deaths recorded. The NCDC also confirmed 265 new cases of the Coronavirus across various states of the country.
The NCDC have continued to preach that the infection is now at community level, which makes contact tracing difficult and, wants people to take responsibility.
The new 265 new cases of COVID19 in Nigeria as reported on May 23 include:
