COVID-19: Nigeria Records 188 New Cases, Total Now 56,017

On Friday September 11, 2020 the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported that it has confirmed additional 188 new cases of the dreaded coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. The 188 new cases brought the nation’s confirmed COVID-19 infection cases to 56,017. The NCDC made this known via its verified Twitter handle @NCDCgov on Friday.

The government agency, which is leading Nigeria in the war against COVID-19 said, “On the 11th of September 2020, 188 new confirmed cases and 1 death were recorded in Nigeria. Till date, 56,017 cases have been confirmed, 43998 cases have been discharged and 1076 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.” The 188 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria as recorded by the agency include:
