COVID-19 Positive Cases Rise Above 21,000 In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday June 23 announced that Nigeria has recorded 452 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 21,371. While 7,338 patients have recovered, 533 patients have died of coronavirus-related complications.

Globally, the novel coronavirus has killed at least 473,475 people since the outbreak emerged in China last December, according to a tally compiled by AFP at 07pm on Monday. At least 9,161,460 cases of coronavirus have been registered in 196 countries and territories. Of these, at least 4,455,700 are considered recovered.
