GO-UNI To Admit 1,500 New Candidates In 2023/2024 Academic Year

The Catholic-owned Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu and its group of institutions are to admit 1,500 new candidates in the 2023/2024 academic year.

The admissions officer of the university, Lady Jane Ndukwe, who disclosed this during the flag off of the year’s admissions, said the institutions over-shut their admissions projections this academic year with over 300 students, but expressed the hope that the next academic year projections will be met.

She announced that for the 2023/2024 academic year, the cut-off mark for medicine is 230, law 220, architecture 180, while all other courses have 160, NCE 100, while the requirement for PGD is 2.50.

Lady Ndukwe said 105 candidates have already been admitted for the coming academic year, evidence that many want to join the institutions people. She explained that the institutions’ ICT portal has been upgraded for efficient and effective service to the people.

Lady Ndukwe made it clear that there would be no room for admission of unqualified persons and gave the assurance that all the necessary information for admissions would be readily available for the candidates seeking admission into the university and its group of institutions.

The Admissions Officer commended GO-UNI Radio and other media houses for assisting to spread the news about the development in the university and its group of institutions.

Flagging off the admissions, the Vice Chancellor, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke reaffirmed the commitment of the management to sustain the standard set by the institutions. He commended the workers for their various contributions to the progress of the institutions.
