As a follow up to our earlier report, Arik Air has reinstated flights to Osubi Airport, Warri and Gombe Airport as well as move all Port Harcourt bound flights back to Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2) with immediate effect. An online statement issued by Adebanji Ola, Arik Air spokesman said that the airline decided to reinstate flights following the suspension of an earlier decision by Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria’s (FAAN) to withdraw Aviation Security (AVSEC), firefighting and rescue services to the airports. The statements said that Arik Air regrets any inconvenience the earlier closure of the three airports may have caused its esteemed customers. The airline assured customers of a hitch-free operations this festive season.
