The Honorable member Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu MFR has congratulated the reelected governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki, the good people of Edo State, the PDP family and all Nigerians for a victory well justified in Edo State.
His reaction, which came through his Facebook and Twitter handles stated: “I want to specially congratulate Nigerians, most especially, the good people of Edo State and PDP family, for today’s (Sunday) resounding victory at the polls.”
The legislator who acknowledged the victory as that of democracy, also sent “special thanks to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and the Governor of Edo State for his unwavering determination to defend the will of his people. May our fledgling democracy continue to evolve for the good of our people. Congratulations to Nigerians,” he concluded.
