Insecurity In Anambra: Senator Ubah Attackers Arrested – Soludo

The Anambra State governor Prof Chukwuma Soludo has announced the arrest of most of the heavily armed gunmen that attacked the Senator representing Anambra South zone Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah few weeks ago

The governor made the disclosure to the relief of the teeming audience at the St Theresa Catholic Parish Enuagu Enugwu-ukwu during the burial mass of late Boniface Okonkwo Nwankwo the late father of Hon Dozie Nwankwo of the Federal House of Representatives. Soludo noted that more details will be made public soon.

Describing Anambra as “Light of the nation, and the land of peace”, the governor urged politicians to always embrace dialogue and jaw jaw; instead of resorting to violence and bloodshed, which Anambra was never known for.

“We are peaceful people. We have given the armed gunmen and similar troublemakers flight out of the state,” he said. The governor praised the Pa Nwankwo as having “lived a life of impact.”

Hon Dozie Nwankwo while commending the guests including President Muhammadu Buhari, who was represented by his wife Aisha, who spoke through zoom and Ministers as well as large number of Members of the national Assembly thanked all the sympathizers who braved all odds to visit in person.
