Again, some unknown gunmen have killed no fewer than five police officers at the Okpala Junction in the Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State. It was gathered that the gunmen also killed a couple, Mr and Mrs Chinaka Nwagu, during an attack, which occurred at about 8:00a.m. on Friday, April 21.

Uche said some gunmen drove to the scene and opened fire on the policemen while eating at the junction. He revealed that three police officers were shot dead at the scene of the incident, while two others who ran to a nearby shop were killed by the assailants.

He added that the gunmen also killed the couple who owned the shop. Uche further revealed that the gunmen carted away five rifles of the police officers after they were killed.
