Nigeria’s COVID-19 Confirmed Cases Now 3,526 With 107 Deaths And 601 Discharged – NCDC

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed scary 381 new cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that is ravaging the entire human race. According to the latest update, The NCDC, who is leading the fight against the unseen enemy said as at 11:20p.m. on Thursday May 7, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria now stands at 3,526 people.

The centre also stated that an impressive number of 601 individuals have also been treated and discharged to reunite with their families having tested negative twice. On a sad note however, the NCDC reported that Nigeria’s COVID-19 death toll as at Thursday May 7, has increased to 107.

With the ease of lockdown by the federal government in Lagos State, Ogun State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, there are fears from every quarters that Nigeria may witness a spike as most Nigerians appear not to understand how dangerous and devastating the virus is, just as the government is threatening a total lockdown if the situation does not improve.
