According to a release from the office of Mr. Simon Tumba, Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of NigeriaTravelsMart, the House Committee Chairman on Aviation, National Assembly, Mr Nnolim Nnaji will be addressing aviation stakeholders as guest speaker at the Nigeriatravelsmart Annual Colloquium, which comes up on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The theme for this year’s fourth edition is: “Airport Concession And Options For Airports Development In Nigeria.” Leading practitioners who are expected to join Hon. Nnaji at the event as panel discussants at the colloquium include Capt Dapo Olumide, the Chief Executive Officer, Ropeways Transport Limited; Ali Mohammed Magashi, the Chief Executive Officer, Kitari Consult Limited just to mention a few.

The organisers said, the event is organised annually to seek ways of improving the aviation sector, which is one of the leading sectors in the quest to develop the economic base of Nigeria. Tumba has remained in the forefront of campaigning for an improved aviation sector in the country given the position of Nigeria among the comity of nations especially in Africa. He said there was no reason Nigeria should not be a major aviation hub in Africa, which is why every year he works so hard to gather experts to see how to improve the sector.

“This year we will be focusing on Airport concession. As the government is planning a major overhaul of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, we believe this theme is timely. In view of this, we will be engaging top aviation and financial experts to provide us with an in depth insight of this topic from both global and local perspectives,” the Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of NigeriaTravelsMart stated.
