Oko Poly Graduate Emerges Best Graduating Student From Chinese Varsity With Bsc. Chinese Language & Literature

A female graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, Miss Ifeoma Amuche, has made her alma mater as well as her hometown Oko proud in far away China. This time, she outshined all others, coming top in a Chinese degree. She became the best graduating student with Bsc. Chinese Language & Literature.

To acknowledge her feat, she was given the platform to give a valedictory speech in Representation of the South West University and the International Students. Her Chinese name is reported to be 陈悦. Miss Ifeoma is a native of Eziabo Village of Oko community in Orumba North LGA of Anambra State. Miss Ifeoma Amuche studied Library and Information Science at Federal Polytechnic, Oko and was also a one-time student at Confucius Institute of the institution.

NewsBits recalls that the former Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Prof. Godwin Onu attracted Confucius Centre to the institution. Consequently, several students have been taking advantage of the centre to develop skills in Chinese Language. Many of of them who have travelled to China for further studies keep flying the flag of the institution at full mast.
