Peter Obi’s ‘Obidient’ Supporters In Awareness March In Benue State

Hundreds of thousands of supporters of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate for the 2023 election in Benue State have taken over the streets of Markudi, the State capital, in conformity with the mission to take back Nigeria from corrupt political elite.

The Obidients as they like to be identified have entered into fierce competition among themselves, each State determined to outwork others in mobilizing and sensitizing for Obi’s victory. It started few weeks ago when hundreds of thousands of them caused gridlocks in the major roads in Cross River and Imo.

As Obi supporters matched in Benue State, countless more are also matching with same aim in Port-Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State. The awareness march almost coincided with the closed door meeting the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and his Benue State counterpart, Samuel Ortom, held with Peter Obi in London yesterday.

The two governors together with Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, and the former president Olusegun Obasanjo, met in United Kingdom, where they reportedly agreed to push Obi agenda in the 2023 presidential election.

The former Anambra State governor is e route France to hold talks with Nigerians after concluding meeting with Nigerian stakeholders in Germany this morning. Obi has so galvanized the people to action that while he was faraway in Europe enthusiastic supporters are staking their money, energy and life for his success at the polls in 2023.
