Two Native Doctors Kidnapped In Anambra State

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have kidnapped two brothers from Umungalagu-Igbakwu who resides in Umungalagu Ivite Aguleri working as native Doctors in the same Community.

The two brothers, include Ifeanyi Simon popularly known as Mgbo and Okolo Nneke both live in the Umungalagu village of Ivite Aguleri. It was reliably gathered that they were abducted on Thursday afternoon at Ubaruisioye junction when they stoped to change the flat tyre of their Toyota Camry car.

Confirming their abduction in Aguleri, the Community Chairman, Dr Fide Ndigwe prayed God to intervene in rescuing the victims.

According to him, “We are saddened by their abduction because they are both Umungalagu-Igbakwu and also reside in our community here and we pray to God to intervene because their abductors demanded for two million Naira ransom and the brother was able to raise only N300,000 but the abductors are not willing to accept the amount. So, both are still with their abductors.”
