With Russia 2018 World Cup qualifications and International break put aside, the English Premier League (EPL) is back with a bang with a host of mouth-watering games. Top on the card for tomorrow (Saturday October 14) is the game between Liverpool and Manchester United, which kicks off at 12.30p.m. I bet you, everybody is looking out for that one. Saturday’s games comes to an end with a game between Watford against Arsenal at 5.30p.m.
But before the EPL kicks off again, some outstanding personalities that are key in the league were rewarded for their individual excellence. Xabi Mancisidor, Rodolfo Borrell, Domenec Torrent, Brian Kidd, Mikel Arteta and Carles Planchart have each played their own part in guiding City to the top of the Premier League table with six wins from their seven matches to date.
Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane was named Premier League player of the month following a stunning September. Kane scored six goals in four PL appearances last month, as well as netting a five times in two Champion League outings. The Spurs vice-captain has now won the award five times, following former successes in January 2015, February 2015, March 2016 and February 2017. Manchester United winger, Antonio Valencia’s stunning volley against Everton was also crowned the Premier League goal of the month for September.
