Dan Shere, Ozongbachi Heads Zonal Teams As Enugu PDP Kickstarts Campaign

A former Secretary to the Enugu State Government (SSG), Dr. Dan Shere and former House of Reps member, Chief Ogbuefi Ozomgbachi will lead the Zonal campaigns of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in both the North and South Senatorial Zones of the state.

The duo has been named Deputy Directors for Enugu North, Enugu West Zones respectively, while Hon. Okey Ogbodo takes charge as Deputy Directors Enugu East. This was disclosed to newsmen by the Director General, State PDP/Peter Mbah Campaign Organization, Chief Ikeje Asogwa at a press briefing in Enugu.

Asogwa, who brought out the list of the State Campaign Council, said that 1,795 persons were appointed as members to run the 2023 campaigns. The council is expected to plan and manage the campaign of the party at all levels in the state, according to Asogwa.

Asogwa heads the Campaign council while a former Commissioner, Dr. Eric Oluedo doubles as Secretary General for both the guber campaign organization and the Council, with Rita Mba, coordinating the women.

Kingsley Udeh and Onyekachi Ugwu are heading the mainstream media and new media committees respectively, while Chief Nana Ogbodo will be working as the public communications and campaign spokesperson.

Asogwa also disclosed that the local government campaign council for the 17 local government areas were also constituted. He announced the commencement of the campaigns and town hall meetings at the development centres with Aninri local government area as the first point of call.
