Nigeria’s coronavirus (COVID-19) cases increased by 1,340 on Thursday night, taking the total from across the country to 136,030, according to the latest update from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC update gathered from 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and made public through the NCDC Twitter handle, @NCDCgov, also revealed that 1,792 persons were discharged after they recovered from the virus, taking the total number of recoveries to 110,449, while death toll reached 1,632 after another 14 persons died from COVID-19 complications.
