Peter Obi Attends Church Service To Honour Nnia Nwodo’s 70th Birthday In Enugu

The Labour Party Presidential candidate in 2023, Mr. Peter Obi attended the St. Mulumba’s Catholic Church in Enugu on Sunday to celebrate Chief John Nnia Nwodo’s 70th birthday with family and friends.

Mr. Obi disclosed this to the public on his official Twitter page, where he expressed his well-wishes to Chief Nwodo and prayed for God’s grace and blessing.

The statement from Peter Obi read: “I celebrated Chief John Nnia Nwodo’s 70th birthday with friends and family at St. Mulumba’s Catholic Church in Enugu.” I wish him health, grace, and God’s blessings. -PO”

Chief John Nnia Nwodo was the 9th President-General of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo. He is a Nigerian lawyer, economist, and minister. Nwodo held the position of Minister of Civil Aviation during Shehu Shagari’s administration and government of the Second Republic. Under the public authority of former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, he filled in as Minister of Information.
