Apparently, still agonizing over his defeat, the senator representing Enugu East senatorial district on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Dr Chimaroke Nnamani has described the duo of Dr. Peter Mbah and Speaker Edward Ubosi as clueless and illiterate.
Dr. Mbah is the Enugu State Governor-Elect, while Ubosi is the current speaker of the State House of Assembly. Senator Nnamani had doubled on the attack against political associates in his state, including Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, after losing election to Kelvin Chukwu of the Labour Party (LP) for the Enugu East senatorial district seat.
He blamed Ugwuanyi and others as being responsible for his defeat. However, in a series of tweets on Saturday, the former Enugu State governor went on to characterize his estranged “Ebeano political associates” as brainless.
Nnamani alleged that they all connived to rig him out during the March 18 rescheduled Enugu East senatorial election. Among those he named were Peter Mbah, Edward Ubosi, Cornelius Nnanji and Anayo Ede.
He regretted that one Uche Ejim, who Nnamani claimed he was paying rent for, helped feed his family and nominated for Local Government chairmanship, limited his total votes to 7000, while giving Labour over 4000 votes.
He wrote: “Imagine the Characters Gburus, Egbe Cornelius Nnaji, Ofo Chukwuegbo, illiterate Speaker, Block head Anayo Ede, mesmerized Uche Ejim and still clueless Peter Mba planning election rigging! But for Peter the others are basically “Brainless” #Chimaroke #Ebeano.
“Sorting out through ESUT in the most. Gburus pretentious lion.The fact that any Enugu man will try this Bullshit with me literally “gores” me. Labour guys stood bye while they delivered the Urban Assembly seats and Senate to them. And in brazen selfishness took the governorship.
“Imagine Peter Mba winning Enugu East LGA and Chimaroke Nnamani loosing with over 13000 votes. Same accreditation of votes, same party, same election period. Ditto two members of the House of Assembly!
