With 566 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Nigeria, Total Spikes To 25,133

The announcement of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday June 29, 2020 did not give anybody reason for laughter as it disclosed that the country yet again recorded 566 high number of positive COVID-19 patients, which brings the number of confirmed cases in the country to 25,133.

The NCDC said Lagos State, which has remained the epicentre for the virus in Nigeria recorded 166 new cases while the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja recorded 26. With this update, Nigeria as at Monday June 29, 2020 at 11:23p.m. recorded 25,133 cases of COVID-19. Of this number, 9,402 persons have been discharged, while 573 have died from the virus.
