The Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on Thursday, ordered the freezing of all State-owned bank accounts with immediate effect, until further notice. In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, the Governor warned commercial banks, heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to comply with the order immediately without any delays. CBN Launches Initiatives To Drive Nationwide Financial Inclusion

The Central Bank of Nigeria has officially launched three initiatives to drive financial inclusion in the country. The initiatives were launched at the second edition of the International Financial Inclusion Conference, which was held in Lagos on Tuesday under the theme, ‘Inclusive Growth: Harnessing Inclusion for Economic Development’.
