Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong, has been named in the squad for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda next week.
The list released by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and new coach, Bruno Labbadia also includes African Footballer of the Year, Victor Osimhen who last played for the Super Eagles in the final of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Cote d’Ivoire early in the year alongside Ekong.
The 23-man squad list also include Ola Aina, Taiwo Awoniyi and Olisa Ndah of Orlando Pirates. Others include Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface and Calvin Bassey.

The Super Eagles will play against Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on September 7 before moving to Kigali to face Rwanda on September 10.
