Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), Mr Ahmed Lawan Kuru better known as ALK (middle), receiving the prestigious “Public Integrity Award 2021,” which he recently won at the maiden edition of the New Telegraph Newspaper Awards 2021 in Lagos. The award was received on ALK’s behalf by AMCON Head of Corporate Communications, Mr Jude Nwauzor (right), and the Technical Assistant to the AMCON Boss Mr Mohammed Yusuf.
Finally, the Managing Director/CEO of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) who recently won the “Public Integrity Award 2021,” at the maiden edition of the New Telegraph Newspaper Awards 2021 in Lagos has been presented with his honour.
Recall that the AMCON boss was not on hand to receive the award from the organisers at the event, which recently held at the Federal palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos but he detailed Jude Chiedozie Nwauzor, the Head of Corporate Communications at the agency to represent him at the event. Kuru we gathered had another national assignment that clashed with the day of the ceremony, which made it impossible for his attendance.
Other notable Nigerians that won other categories of awards at the event are the Governor of the Central Bank, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, President of the Senate, Senator Ahmed Lawan, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Abia State Governor, Mr. Okezie Ikpeazu, and the Borno State Governor, Prof Babagana Zulum.
Other winners include Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State; Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, Dr Kayode Fayemi, and the Kogi State Governor, Mr. Yahaya Bello, just to mention a few.
