As at the time of filing this report, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Prof. Charles Soludo is clearly leading the rest of the governorship aspirants in the results so far released by the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Soludo also in Awka South where he polled 12891 votes. The closest candidate to him, Senator Andy Uba of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 5498 votes.
