The Deputy National Chairman South of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Emma Eneukwu , has described the sudden death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah as a monumental tragedy particularly to the party and Nigeria at large.

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s death, announced on Saturday, July 27, 2023, has brought profound shock and sympathy across the globe owing to his unending love for humanity and peaceful coexistence.

In a statement personally signed by the APC Chieftain and sent to newsmen on Sunday, he stated that late Senator Ubah’s life was marked by total commitment to the principles of democracy, good governance, and social justice. He added that the late lawmaker was a “tireless advocate for the welfare of his constituents and a strong proponent of economic empowerment and development; that is marked with total love for all and philanthropy.”

Chief Eneukwu further said that Ubah’s contributions to legislative processes, particularly in the areas of economic policies and national development, “have left an indelible mark on our nation.”

The APC Chieftain also noted that Senator Ubah was a “beacon of hope and a symbol of resilience,” stressing that throughout his tenure as a Senator, Ubah demonstrated exemplary leadership, dedication, and a unique ability to connect with the grassroots. His insights, wisdom, and steadfast loyalty to the party’s ideals will be sorely missed, according to the APC Deputy National Chairman, South.

Chief Eneukwu, who also extended his heartfelt condolences to Ubah’s family, acknowledged the immeasurable pain of losing a husband, father, and friend. He, however, expressed hope that the family members “find solace in the legacy of honour, service, and compassion that Senator Ubah left behind as he touched so many lives positively.”

He further expressed his sympathies to the people of Anambra State, the South East, and Southern Nigeria who have lost a dedicated representative and reputed philanthropist.

He noted that Senator Ubah’s passion for uplifting his community and his relentless pursuit of progress has set a high standard for all who follow in his footsteps.

But as Nigeria mourns the loss of a patriot, Chief Eneukwu called on all, especially the members of the political party in the Southern part of the country, to honor Senator Ubah’s memory by continuing the work he passionately believed in, ensuring that his legacy inspires future generations.
