At 11:36p.m. on Sunday July 5, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that Nigeria has recorded new 544 positive cases of the dreaded Coronavirus (COVID-19). NCDC made the disclosure on its Twitter handle on Sunday.
With the new addition, the country now has 28,711 confirmed of COVID-19. Of this number, 11,665 have so far been discharged to reunite with their loved ones just as 645 deaths have occurred as a result of complications from the virus.
