As at 11:34p.m. on Monday July 6, 2020, the Nigeria for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that Nigeria recorded 575 new cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The latest update, which is on NCDC Twitter handle also has it that Lagos State recorded 123 new cases with the Federal Capital Territory having 100 new cases.
With the new addition, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has risen to 29,286. The NCDC also said that 654 persons have so far died from the virus with 11,828 patients have so far been discharged.
