The member representing Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State at the National Assembly, Hon. Chinedu Ogah has commended the state governor, Francis Nwifuru for running a people-oriented style of administration in the state.
Hon. Ogah made the commendation, while fielding questions from journalists, shortly after he attended an interdenominational church service as part of activities to mark Nigeria’s 63rd independence anniversary celebration and the 27th anniversary of the creation of Ebonyi State, held at the Government House Chapel, Abakaliki.
He described Governor Nwifuru as a visionary and pragmatic leader, whose people-oriented policies have impacted positively on Ebonyi people, within few months in office.
“I am deeply satisfied with Governor Nwifuru’s exceptional leadership abilities. His achievements within this short period of his administration in office are second to none, as the governor has been busy unveiling his people’s charter of needs for the benefit of Ebonyians,” he emphasized.
The law maker called on the phone of the state to rally round the governor, adding that this is the only way to encourage him to deliver more dividends of democracy to them.
According to him, “the governor is progressive minded, and he has the capacity to the deliver on his manifesto of the charter of the people’s needs. I urge Ebonyians to massively support him, so that together, they can build a better Ebonyi.”
High lights of the celebrations included the launch of the distribution of palliative and relief materials by the governor, an interdenominational church service at the Government House Chapel, and a dinner at the state presidential lodge.
Prominent among the dignitaries at the church service were: former governors of the state, former and serving members of the National Assembly from the state, members of the state’s executive council, the clergy and Representatives of various support groups.
