The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has assured of prompt electrical fault repairs and seamless power supply during the Easter in South-East. The EEDC’s Head of Corporate Communications, Mr Emeka Ezeh, gave the assurance in an Easter message in Enugu on Friday.
Ezeh assured the people of the South-East of the preparedness of the organisation’s technical team to attend to any fault that might occur during the period. The company’s cash offices will be open to customers on Good Friday, and on Saturday, between the hours of 9am and 2pm respectively, according to him.
Ezeh said: “Customers are equally encouraged to make use of the convenient, easy and safe electronic payment channel “EnergyPay” to recharge their meters and pay their bills during the holiday period. This they can do by simply logging on to EEDC website (www.enugudisco.com) and clicking the “Make Payment” button, or through the EEDC Connect App.
“For those that might want to report faults, lodge complaints or make enquiries, they are encouraged to use the 24/7 Call Center, email, and social media platforms to do so. The EEDC spokesman said that for accident and emergency issues, customers are advised to call: 0815 082 4301. Ezeh said: “EEDC assures customers of the organisation’s commitment in delivering improved services. The organisation is using this occasion of the Easter celebration to felicitate with her esteemed customers as they commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
