Emeka Ojukwu’s Youngest Son Graduates As A Computer Engineering Guru

The youngest child of late Biafran leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Master Nwachukwu Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has bagged a degree in computer engineering from a US-based university.

The Odumegwu-Ojukwu (junior) graduated on Sunday, May 14, with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of North Texas (UNT), USA. He also made the prestigious Dean’s List in his chosen course (computer engineering) in the reputable university, which leads Texas universities in the number of Goldwater scholars in Mathematics, Science and Engineering.  

Commenting on the development in Enugu on Monday, mother of the new graduate and Amb. Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, who was a former Nigerian Ambassador to the kingdom of Spain, said she is highly elated as the mother of the new graduate, adding: “This is an achievement worth celebrating”.

Bianca, widow of the late Igbo leader, said: “I celebrate this feat on behalf of the family and all friends and well wishers of the great Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu worldwide.”

She said her husband would have been very proud of this moment. “I commend our son for this milestone and doing us, the family, and the entire Igbo people my husband represents proud”.

“I will urge Nwachukwu to utilise and apply his newly acquired skills towards programmes and initiatives that will foster societal development and the advancement of humanity,” she said. Nwachukwu is also an avid football and basketball enthusiast among other hobbies.
