Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah has assured the people of Enugu state that their safety is a top priority as he continues to maintain his declaration of an end to the Monday sit-at-home order imposed by a faction of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In a recent Facebook post, the governor encouraged residents to resume their daily activities, emphasizing the need to promote creativity, entrepreneurship, and productivity. Governor Mbah’s decision to end the sit-at-home order was due to the belief that it has hindered economic growth and development in the state. Mbah had officially declared an end to the sit-at-home order on June 5, and since then, he has been working to ensure the safety of the people of Enugu.
